Project: "The support towards the implementation of the new system of compensation for biodiversity loss, through the design of a monitoring technique, which consists of a set of indicators and imagery of the compensated areas."
4D Elements Consultants is designing a set of indicators to assess the compensation plans for loss of biodiversity regarding the infrastructure projects submitted to ANLA (National Authority of Environmental Licensing), to be used as a monitoring technique. Additionally, the corresponding legal factors are being reviewed (conditions of compliance) towards the development and identification of the implementation strategies for loss of biodiversity compensations. The last phase is the design of an imagery model that provides access to mapping information in accordance with the requirements of ANLA for decision-making.
